The complex investigation (biochemical, endocrine and immunologic) are carrying out to clarify the pathogenesis aspects of Alzheimer's diseas.: As a basic marker-subsrate there are studying the ultrastructural and biochemical displacements in the central structures of the brain. The "Alzheimer's disease" model was reproduced and tested on small laboratory animals, were the protective action of "rich-prolin peptide" - the neurosecretory granules of hypophysis and hypothalamus were prepared in the Institute of Biochemistry, NAS RA by prof. A.Galoyan. In specific structures of the brain during the dynamic course of pathologic process and injection of "rich-prolin peptide" the displacements in contained melotonin, prolactin, citokyns (TNFx, JL I, JL II and 6) as well as katabolits, characterizing the process of oxidationy stress are studying. |

The role of immunocytokins in regulation of hypophysosuprarenal gland and hypophysogonadal systems". At present the main topics of the Center are studies, directed on investigation of modulatory role of cytokins of central genesis (output from neuronal and glial structures of the thalamus and hypothalamus) on mechanisms of excitatory and inhibitory processes of the synthesis of neurohormons of epyphys and hypophys. |
