The study of limbic, neurophysiological and neurochemical regulatory mechanisms of organism's somato-visceral (hearth-circulatory, respiratory, blood coagulation systems, vestibular analyzer) functions in conditions of ecological factors' (vibration, hypoxia, mental, emotional and physical activity). It was revealed the differential influence of limbic structures (hypothalamus, amygdala, septum nuclei, different areas of limbic cortex), its adrenergic and cholinergic structures interrelation in regulation and integration mechanisms of the organism's adaptation process related to environmental conditions. The neurophysiological mechanisms of providing of different explored kinds of intellectual activity. The psychophysiological exponents of the genesis and development of aggressive reactions are studied. |

The estradiol and cortisol induction of acetylcholinesterases and some key glycolytic enzymes (such as phosphofructokinase, pyrovate kinase, cytosolic and membrane-bound hexokinases) were studied in rat brain cells. A definite correlation between the estradiol induction of glycolytic ensimens and estradiol stimulation of contractility (epileptic activity) was demonstrated. The action of estradiol on structural and functional properties of brain cromatin was studied. The specific shifts in chromatin melting curves were demonstrated after the genome activation by steroid. The action of estradiol on ADP-ribosylation level in brain chromatin was also studied. The possible regulatory role of ADP-ribosylation in genome activation by steroids in brain cells was supposed. The interdependency between the mechanisms of protein induction and protein modification cause by estradiol was investigated in brain cells. The possible ways of interdependency between these two mechanisms of estradiol action on plasma membrane and nuclear level in brain cells were supposed. The action of various hormones (cortisol, estradiol, insulin) on phospholipid content of different nuclear fractions (nuclear membranes, nuclear matrix, chromatin) was studied. It was supposed that the changes in polyphosphoinositides content in nuclear fractions play an important role in hormone activation of phosphoinositide regulatory pathway in brain cell nuclei. |

Proline biosynthesis in the rat brain.
The advantage of NADPH in comparison with NADH as co-factors of proline-5-carbolxylate reductase (P5CR) in rat brain and cerebellum of rats has been established. The inhibition of the enzymes of proline biosynthesis-ornithine- ( -transaminase (OT) and PC5R -by adenilate nucleotides, especially by ATP, has been established. The scheme of purification of the enzymes of proline biosynthesis, OT and P5CR, has been elaborated. OT and P5CR were obtained with degrees of purification 62.5 and 684 (in brain ), 53.1 and 700 (cerebellum), correspondingly. The stimulation of proline biosynthesis in the presence of organic acids (citrate, isocitrate, malate) and oxidising nucleotides (NADP*, NAD*) has been established. In the presence of NADP* and citrate the biosynthesis of proline is regulated by adenilate nucleotides differently. Namely, ATP inhibits the process rather strongly, ADP on the contrary, does not exert any influence, and AMP shows feebly action. |
